New Year, New You… right? 

Isn’t that how the saying goes? The new year has begun and that means the commencement of “new year resolutions” have gone into effect. The most common “new year resolution’ amongst women are to get physically fit and lose the extra pounds.

Easier said then done, right?

If you’ve picked up a magazine or engaged in any sort of television show over the past 10 years, you have a pretty good grasp on what our society considers a woman to be “fit.” In fact, the media even describes what a woman should look like in order to be classified as physically “fit”: long hair, tall, slim thighs, face free from blemishes, young.
